Kennedy Lodge, Brake Hill, Arthurs Pass is the Club's base hut. Rebuilt in 1987 after a fire, it has all the facilities of a modern chalet. The hut has two upstairs bunkrooms, sleeping 12 in one and 8 in the other. Full kitchen facilities; all mains powered, stove, cook tops,micowave refrigerator, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, logfire. There are three large dining tables and benches, fixed seating, washroom with two basins, two showers, two internal toilets, two vacuums one in the kitchen one upstairs in small bunk room, electronic fire alarm. Entry is by electronic keyless code for the currant code ring Bill or Sherelle King 9429188 Or Owen Rees 3238988 before you leave. The hut is now signposted.
Park at the top of the road if there is no room left in the Kennedy Lodge Carpark and avoid parking in the driveways of other Arthurs Pass residents.
