
Kennedy Lodge, Brake Hill, Arthurs Pass is the Club's base hut. Rebuilt in 1987 after a fire, it has all the facilities of a modern chalet. The hut has two upstairs bunkrooms, sleeping 12 in one and 8 in the other. Full kitchen facilities; all mains powered, stove, cook tops, refrigerator, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, logfire. There are two large dining tables and benches, fixed seating, washroom with two basins, two showers, two internal toilets, electronic fire alarm. Entry is by electronic keyless code. The hut is now signposted.
Park at the top of the road if there is no room left in the Kennedy Lodge Carpark and avoid parking in the driveways of other Arthurs Pass residents.
