Friday evening a group took 4WD vehicles in to the old Winterslow cookhouse where a good crowd stayed overnight. After a frosty night, the keener ones climbed Mt Alford. Others strolled to the top of adjacent hills for a view to Mt Taylor, freshly coated in white.
