Jack has been a very big part of the CMC for a very long time. He has been one of our most respected climbers, and contributed a great deal to the club and climbing.
He is also a well read author - his books tell of his adventure and commitment to the outdoors throughout his life, and of the fun and pleasure he brought to those around him.
He was our club Patron for the past year until the recent AGM.
He Joined the club in 1941, and was awarded Life Member status in 1985.
His funeral is Saturday 21st, 11am at Jack Ryan's Place in London St.
